About Me
Traveling:
When we travel and explore new places, this lends perspective. It allows us to see new points of view and new ways of thinking and broaden our outlooks on others.
Getting to travel to a new region or country or explore a new neighborhood in a city is something I find very exciting. I enjoy being able to stumble across a hole-in-the-wall bakery, a small music store, or a niche shop that sells cat-themed candles (yes, this is a shop I have come across).
Athletics:
Growing up, my brother and I were encouraged to play outside. Naturally, this lead to sports and the great outdoors. I am an avid soccer (futbal) player, Rock Climber (photo to the left is my climbing team placing third overall in the Peak Climbing gym bouldering series), cycling, hiking, racing (bikes and auto), snowboarding, and surfing!
Being able to get outside has become such an essential part of my life for me. It has been a staple in keeping up with my mental health. And as a major foodie with a MASSIVE sweet tooth, it allows me the excuse to keep indulging in all the little bakeries and coffee shops I come across!
Tank The Cat
This is my 10-year-old Tabby, Tank. He was adopted from the human shelter after being abandoned, being the runt of the litter. However, this has not stopped him from achieving his potential. He has successfully guilted me into giving him lots of cat treats, spending copious amounts of time giving cuddles, playing with all his toys, trying to fit into things that are way too small for his 14lbs frame, and giving judgemental looks to his human.
